Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role based in Derby. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £24.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 4 month contract.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- 2 years expereince
- Preferably used Sysmex XN9000, CS2100i and/or IH1000n analysers and be experienced in morphology
- At least one of the following: Morphology, blood grouping and antibody ID, result authorisation, reviewing IQC, troubleshooting equipment, team work
- Able to perform all or some elements of BMS role in haematology and transfusion
