Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role at St George's Hospital in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £24.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. The candidate will be working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm with some weekends if agreed.
Job Summary:
- Processing specimens in serology and virology
- Issuing results
- Running molecular platforms
- Supporting covid-19 testing
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- Post qualifying experience within a similar role
- 2 years' experience
