Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum Band 6 Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist role based in Kensington & Chelsea.

The pay rate for this locum Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist job is £28-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month ongoing contract.

Main Duties:

  • The trust run Qiagen NeuMoDx for SARS-CoV-2, EMAG, AusDX and ABI for respiratory viruses, so must be competent to read day one in bacteriology - the majority of the samples are respiratory.

Requirements of the Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist:

  • HCPC registered.

  • Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification.

  • Post-qualifying experience within biomedical science, including Molecular experience.

  • The LIMS is WINPATH so any experience with this would be advantageous.
