Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role based in Croydon.
The pay rate for this locum Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist job is £25.10 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 4-5 month contract.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday – Friday
- 09:00 am – 17:30 pm
- 7.5 hours/day
Duties:
- Test routine patient samples and report results, validate COVID-19 reports, phone abnormal results to clinics
- Complete daily maintenance on the equipment and process IQC and EQA samples
Requirements of the Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Knowledge of use of Roche Cobas 8000 and cITM middleware desirable but full training will be provided
- Experience with Roche Cobas 8000 equipment and cITM middleware is desirable
