Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Best Interest Assessor to work within a DoLS Team in Macclesfield. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Best Interest Assessor job is £24.90 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3 month contract.
Purpose of the role:
- The post holder will work within the required statutory frameworks and caselaw, and will ensure that all assessments and authorisations are completed in a timely manner, following the correct processes.
- The post holder will work with individuals, carers and many professionals to preserve the rights of vulnerable adults.
Requirements of the Best Interest Assessor:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Must have excellent understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the appropriate knowledge, skills and post graduate qualification
- Best Interests Assessor qualification.
