Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a part-time role in an Acute Team based in Camden. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £31.40 - £47.59 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Must have band 7 in acute team experience
- Needs to be very familiar with acute in patient care, bed management, ability to respond and lead medical and psychiatric emergencies and make sound clinical decisions ( risk assessment and risk management)
- The role entails coaching and supporting staff as well as ensuring high standards of care are met at all times.
- Must have knowledge of addressing poor performance and some knowledge of quality improvement initiatives.
