Exciting Opportunity: Locum Band 8a Pharmacist – Hospital Ward, Doncaster
Looking for a fresh start with a mix of rewarding work and inspiring surroundings? We have an excellent position for a Band 8a Pharmacist within the Hospital Ward at in Doncaster. Earn £35 to £36 per hour on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 with a 7.5-hour working day. This position begins with a one-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- GPHC Registration
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacist within a UK based NHS Pharmacy setting
- NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacist qualification
What you will do:
- Provide expert pharmaceutical support to hospital wards, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Collaborate closely with the medical and nursing staff to offer comprehensive clinical advice.
- Manage medication supply, ensuring accuracy and safety in medicines administration.
- Conduct medicines reconciliation and patient medication reviews to support safe discharge.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records within the electronic ordering system, ERx.
