Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Pharmacist to work full-time based in Rotherham.
The pay rate for this locum Pharmacist job is £34.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Perform clinical checks on haematology and oncology chemotherapy prescriptions including intravenous, oral and clinical trials as per the Clinical Pharmacy Standards and Guidelines (make clinical interventions on drug interactions, adverse effects, dose and formulation modifications according to patients' clinical needs).
- Undertake clinical reviews and clinical interventions on patients' chemotherapy treatments.
- To undertake the duties of an accredited accuracy checker of all types of prescription in the dispensary and ward based.
- Provide specialist advice and pharmaceutical information concerning chemotherapy products and related issues to medical staff, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist
- Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy
