What you will do:
- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with voice disorders.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards.
- Offer training and education to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals as required.
- Participate in service development initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Stay updated on advancements in voice therapy through continuing professional development.
Essential Requirements:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven expertise in managing voice-related cases at a Band 7 level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in service development or leadership within an SLT setting.
Familiarity with advanced instrumental assessment techniques for voice disorders.
