Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Respiratory Nurse to fill a full-time role based in Guernsey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The Salary for this Nurse job is £38,055 - £50,172
Job Summary:
- The post holder will work alongside the current respiratory nurse specialist, respiratory consultant and allied health professionals to provide clinical management and professional leadership in the delivery and development of respiratory services.
- The post holder will work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to promote, develop and evaluate the clinical respiratory service within HSC thus ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care.
- The post holder will be responsible for the provision of expert advice in respiratory nursing including all matters relating to home ventilation, oxygen therapy, chronic disease management, discharge planning, pulmonary rehabilitation and palliative care to all respiratory patients and their family/carers.
- The post holder will be working across a variety of settings both in the community and within the hospital to deliver patient care and the education and clinical support of staff.
Requirements of the Nurse:
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Degree or equivalent in Nursing
- 3 years clinical referencing
- 2 years acute experience
- Enhanced DBS, full immunisation history and mandatory training.
