Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 7 Prison Clinical Lead to work full-time within a Primary Care Team in a Prison based in Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of prison nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Prison Clinical Lead job is £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and this role is a 3-month contract.
Role Purpose
- To assume responsibility for the clinical management of the Primary Care Team within Offender Health Prisons.
- To be responsible for the day to day organisation and smooth running of the multi disciplinary team providing a service to a diverse caseload of prisoners who are presenting with general and mental health problems.
- To lead a team of healthcare professionals in the delivery of effective clinical management of prisoners who have a wide range of health issues.
Requirements of the Band 7 Prison Clinical Lead:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Must have prison clearance and experience
