Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated Band 7 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Moray.
The salary for this permanent Physiotherapist job is £37,570 - £44,688 per annum, depending on experience.
Job summary:
- To provide expert physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge as a First Contact practitioner within the MSK service, making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care, covering all ages of patient.
- To be responsible for the day to day management of the service area liaising closely with the B8a physiotherapist in the area.
- To work multiprofessionally for efficient and effective patient care.
- To take clinical responsibility for a designated element of the physiotherapy outpatient service including adherence to and implementation of national clinical guidelines.
- To supervise and teach physiotherapy assistants/technical instructors, junior staff, physiotherapy students and other personnel, acting as a source of specialist advice as appropriate.
- To undertake audit and research to further evidence-based practice within own clinical practice, team and wider physiotherapy service.
- To deputise for the Lead Physiotherapist - as appropriate.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Current HCPC Registration
- Documented Evidence of Post-Graduate study
- Post graduate experience with strong background in areas relevant to the post.
- Currently working as a senior therapist
