Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Aldershot. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £30.78 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 1 - month contract.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
  • Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Previous NHS experience

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver specialist muscular-skeletal/sports and training injury rehabilitation.
  • To provide independent assessment, treatment and management of complex caseload of patients.
  • To act as Clinical Specialist within Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) clinics.
  • To act as clinical physiotherapy lead for specialist area of work e.g. sports and training injuries, biomechanics; training other staff in specialist area.
  • To perform highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessment of patients referred by Consultants and Medical Officers (MO) with diverse presentations and complex and chronic physical and psychological conditions and sports and training injuries.
  • To use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis and request investigations such as x-rays and scans.
  • To use the results of investigations to assist clinical diagnosis and appropriate management of patients referring to other medical and health care professionals as appropriate.
