Sanctuary Health has a locum vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Orpington. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £30-£35.47 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract. Working Hours - Full Time 8-4 or 9-5 - Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- To independently identify those patients who can be managed by the physiotherapy practitioner within the Emergency department.
- To appropriately request to view investigation results to optimize the management of patients in the Emergency department.
- To triage, assess, treat and discharge patients with acute and chronic complex conditions, providing expert knowledge within own scope of practice. This may include onward referrals to other specialities as appropriate.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties within the Emergency department as an autonomous practitioner.
- To provide autonomous Physiotherapy assessment and intervention underpinned by a high level of clinical knowledge and skill for a range of physical presentations such as falls, balance, neurology, stroke orthopaedics, respiratory, musculoskeletal conditions.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree within physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- NHS Experience working as a physiotherapist
- Must be a car driver and have access to a car
