Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to work full-time based in North East London.
The pay rate for this locum Pharmacist job is £28.99 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Providing a clinical ward pharmacy service to MHS and CHS in-patient wards and community teams within NELFT
- Work closely with quality and patient safety teams to review quality and risk management issues related to pharmacy and medicine management
- Develop and deliver the pharmacy relevant training packages to assist medical, nursing and pharmacy staff across MHS and CHS
- Support and contribute to clinical audits
- Support the development and implementation of medicines optimisation initiatives in MHS and CHS
- Promote high quality medicine use, effective risk management, clinical governance, and adherence to policies and guidelines concerning medicines use across all settings
- Provide Clinical Pharmacy Service to a speciality on a rotational basis within both MHS and CHS
- Work within mental health services (MHS) and community health services (CHS) ensuring that the changing medicines optimisation and pharmacy needs are being met across NELFT within the inpatient setting and community teams
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist
- Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy
- Must have NHS hospital experience
