Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 or 8a Pharmacist Specialist to work full-time based in Salford.
The pay rate for this locum Pharmacist Specialist job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- Ensure that a safe and effective specialist clinical pharmacy service is offered to various wards.
- Dispenses and supplies medicines; provide medicines advice.
- Undertake risk management and ensure compliance with Medicines legislation including local policies.
- Provide relevant clinical training/teaching/education sessions under the direction of the Principal Clinical Pharmacist.
- Act as a role model for less experienced pharmacists.
- Provide out of hours emergency pharmacy services.
Requirements of the Pharmacist Specialist:
- Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist.
- Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy.
- Experience working as a pharmacist.
