Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for a Band 7 Occupational Health Clinical Nurse Speicalist to work full-time in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
As postholder of this permanent Clinical Nurse Speicalist role you will receive a salary up to £38,890 - £44,503 per annum.
Job Purpose:
- To support the work of the Occupational Health service by providing Clinical, Professional and Managerial leadership for a team of registered Nurses and Healthcare support workers.
About the role:
- Understanding of evidence-based practice. Specifically to Occupational Health
- Understanding of Clinical Governance and its importance to OH Service delivery.
- Understanding Blood borne viruses in relation to EPP workers and sharps management.
- Understanding of patient pathways its complexities and how to support the patient through this
Requirements of the Role:
- Registered Nurse (on part 1 or 2 of the NMC register).
- Post registration Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Health (or equivalent)
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Teaching qualification.
- Advanced communication skills/counselling qualification or willingness to undertake
