Sanctuary Health has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Neuro Psychologist to work part-time in Luton.
The pay rate for this permanent Psychologist job is £15,030.60-£17,511 per annum.
Duties:
- To work with, and offer psychological input to the Acquired Brain Injury and Early Supported Discharge Stroke Teams
- To provide specialist clinical psychology provision to service users and their families, where an adult has complex health needs.
- To be responsible for providing, developing and managing specialised assessment and interventions for service users and their families, This will include individual, family and wider systemic intervention.
- To work together with other services and agencies, and in different settings, to meet the needs of service users and families, as appropriate to above role.
- To provide regular consultation, support and advice to non-psychology colleagues within the Community Team services in Luton.
- To provide evidence to support the development of psychology service provision within Community Services through needs led assessment, service evaluation and consultation; providing information for managers and commissioners
Requirements of the Psychologist:
- To be eligible for this role you must be an HCPC registered psychologist, have a relevant qualification and recent experience is essential.
- Knowledge of key policy and legislation in relation to services for the well-being of adults.
- Knowledge of psychological sequelae of chronic and acute and long term physical health problems in adulthood
- Specialised knowledge of therapeutic psychological interventions with service users and their families, including individual and systemic interventions
