Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Rugby in a community neuro role.The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £36.27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • To work as part of the consultant led team to provide highly specialist assessment and treatment of patient with complex neurological and cognitive problems with a range of neurological diagnoses.
  • To be part of the defined specialist neurological clinical team, working without direct supervision and monitoring the service against national guidelines and standards.
  • To provide specialist clinical advice and teaching on the education and training programme provided for patients with complex cognitive and physical problems to physiotherapy staff, undergraduate students, other members of the multidisciplinary team, and external agencies/ organisations as requested.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
  • 3 years post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Must be a car driver
  • Must have undertaken post graduate training in neurological rehabilitation
  • Must have experience in assessing and treating the following: traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and Multiple Sclerosis
