Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Manager to work full-time within Adult's Services in Guernsey, within the Supporting Living Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Manager job is £31 - £34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Each person lives in their own flat and has staff support daily based on needs. There are currently 25 care packages supported by this team which range from a 'pop in' to check medication or welfare check to a full day time care package with assistive technology for emergency support at night. The team is based on site and has a whole-time equivalent team of 30 staff
Duties of the Manager:
- To work within an Extra Care Housing Scheme supporting people with learning disabilities and /or autism.
Requirements of the Band 7 Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working in a similar role
- A Learning Disability Nurse with a Registered Manager's qualification is preferable
