Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work full-time within a CAMHS Crisis Team based in Croydon. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Provide Crisis Assessments at Croydon University Hospital and community base
- Complete risk assessments
- Offer 7 day follow ups
- Care Co-ordinate crisis caseload by reviewing risk and mental state
- Formulate cases for treatment
- Liaise with other services and agencies
- Complete admin tasks relative to role eg; GP letters, Assessment reports, Outcome measures etc.
- Attend meetings on behalf of professionals and service users
- Attend team meetings within the service
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent UK Nursing experience
- Knowledge of EPJS is helpful but not essential
