Role Purpose:
To provide specialist clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

  • Conduct medication reviews and deliver expert advice on pharmaceutical care and best practices.

  • Lead and mentor junior staff while managing resources and supporting professional development.

  • Participate in clinical audits, contribute to quality improvement, and engage in service development.

  • Offer guidance on legal, ethical, and regulatory matters concerning medicines management.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

  • Previous hospital experience is essential, demonstrating a thorough understanding of clinical settings.
