Sanctuary Health has a permanent vacancy for a Charge Nurse to work full-time within a Hospital based in Guernsey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse job is £38,055 - £50,172 per annum
Duties:
- To monitor and ensure the safe and appropriate placement of the patients within the hospital.
- To monitor and direct the flow of patients through the bed allocation to ensure that the appropriate level of care is provided at each stage of the patient's clinical progress.
- Provide a visible and accessible presence for patients and their families.
- To provide exemplary planned care for patients.
- To ensure the team deliver effective patient care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
- To lead and develop patient safety and promote staff development.
- The underpinning principle is to have a professional leader who is accountable for coordinating safe, high quality care to improve patients' experience and safety.
Requirements of the Charge Nurse:
- RMN/RNLD
- Mentorship Qualification (preferred)
- The ability to lead and motivate others. Must be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to supervise clinical teams.
