Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner (Occupational Therapist) to work in Exeter on full-time basis.The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Practitioner job is £27-£28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.

About this role:

  • The post holder will be responsible for the effective operational management of the Community CAMHS Mental Health team including line management of staff, financial and performance management. They will use effective leadership, change management and team building skills to monitor, evaluate and develop the service provided.
  • In conjunction with the CAMHS clinical, operational and medical leadership team the post holder will work to provide outstanding levels of strengths based care to children/young people and their parents/carers presenting with a range of complex emotional and mental health needs in the community.
  • Taking a collaborative approach, and using evidenced-based interventions, the post holder will support and oversee clinical practice in a CYP-IAPT CAMHS Service, ensuring the use of ROMs, goals, job plans and caseload management

Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • CAMHS Experience
  • Car driver is essential
