Sanctuary Health is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner Health Advisor to work within Sexual Health in Chester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of general nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this ANP Health Advisor role is £44,000 per annum.
About the role:
- Currently there is no health advising team with the sexual health integrated services. Therefore, in this role you will be able to set up a comprehensive health advising process and ensure quality and safe patient care is delivered.
- This process will provide onsite and back office health advising to patients, but also to work with GP's and pharmacies in the Cheshire West and Chester geographical area.
- The individual will therefore require a range of professional abilities. In addition to this the role will so require to individual to perform nurse led clinics within the Integrated Sexual Health Service.
Requirements of the ANP Health Advisor:
- Valid NMC registration
- A degree or equivalent within general nursing
- Degree level or equivalent in contraception and reproductive health
- Sexual Health qualification
- Mentorship qualification
- Training and certification in implants
- Advanced training and certification of inserting intrauterine devises
- Health advisor experience
- Counselling qualification
- Non-medical prescriber
