Sanctuary Social Care has two permanent vacancies for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Social Workers to work full-time within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) team in Aylesbury. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for these permanent Social Worker jobs are £31,365.00 to £37,890.00 per annum.
Post holders will be expected to work flexible hours to cover the shift patterns (7am - 3pm, 9am - 5pm and 12pm - 8pm for those in the assessment function) and staff working in the assessment function may also be required to work from 8pm to 7am to cover the teams out of hours provision.
Duties of the social workers:
- To carry out the initial assessments of clients who meet the referral criteria of the AMHT and to undertake short term treatment where appropriate.
- To manage, formulate and implement treatment plans, delivering care under the clinical model.
- To evaluate effectiveness whilst working within the framework of CPA and Risk Assessment
Requirements of the Social Workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- 3 years' relevant post registration experience
- Previous experience of working with within the adults sector is essential
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Experience of using I.T. systems and software
- Must be a car driver with access to your own Vehicle.
