Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Social Worker to work full-time within an Adults Mental Health Team based in Oxford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £31,365 - £37,890 per annum.
Summary:
- We provide core mental health services in the community to adults of working age (between 18 - 65 years) with mental health problems. These problems can range from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, postnatal depression and other depressive disorders, to enduring anxiety and personality disorders.
- We give people the support they need to continue a full and active life in the community and work closely with GPs, service users and carers, and other key partners to achieve this. We also provide AMHT-based psychology services.
- The teams are made up of a number of different staff, including psychiatrists, psychologists, community psychiatric nurses (CPNs), approved social workers, occupational therapists and support workers.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Service
- Previous experience of working with within the adults sector is essential
