Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Mammographer to work full-time in Reading within the Radiology Department, the Breast Screening Unit and on the community based Mobile Screening Unit(s). The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mammography and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Mammographer job is £24 - £29 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. The hours for this role would be Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday.
Duties:
- Supervising and training of junior staff
- Provide a high standard of radiographic imaging whilst ensuring that patients receive high quality care by supporting their physical and psychological needs.
Requirements of the Mammographer:
- Degree or equivalent within Radiography
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Mammographer or Radiographer
- HCPC registered
- 2 years' experience
