Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award- winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Brain Injury Speech & Language Therapy to work either full/part-time based in Milton Keynes.
The pay rate for this locum Speech & Language Therapist job is £28-35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main duties:
- Apply the neurobehavioral approach to brain injury, demonstrating knowledge of current research findings, and best practice in the field
- Manage and prioritise a caseload of service users with complex mental/physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, considering environment, context and future plans, of service users in order to formulate appropriate care plans, referrals etc
Requirements of the Speech & Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
