Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role within Bacteriology in Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £32-£36 per hour (Assignment rate). This role is on an initial 6-month contract.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years NHS experience is required for the role.
- Experience of manual techniques, especially urine microscopies and Abbott Architect or Alinity and the Diasorin Liaison.
