Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £24.61 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract (possible extension).
Duties:
- To be responsible for carrying and prioritising own caseload and assisting junior physiotherapy staff, Rehabilitation Technicians and Rehabilitation Assistants to manage their caseloads ensuring effective handover of caseloads during periods of absence
- To ensure, where possible, that all intervention is evidence based, utilising appropriate outcome measures when applicable.
- To undertake lone working as required and be responsible for clinical risk management within that environment.
- To take responsibility for delegation to junior therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians and to supervise these staff in line with CSP guidelines
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role
