Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 School Nurse to work full-time within a 0-19 Team based in St Helens. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Specialist Practitioner job is £23.50-£25 per hour (Assignment rate). Initial 3-month contract with a view to this being extended.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting school age children and their families.
- Carrying out health assessments.
- Close working with schools - including drop ins.
- Home visits to families requiring support.
- Signposting to other services.
- Safeguarding advice and coordination.
Requirements of the Specialist Practitioner:
- An in-date DBS is required for all roles/work
- RGN qualified
- Registered on the NMC
- Recent UK experience within nursing.
