Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 School Nurse to work based in South Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum School Nurse job is £26-£30 per hour (Assignment rate). Initial 3-month contract with a view to this being extended. Monday to Friday, 9:00-16:30 Various both full time and part time hours.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enteral feeding.
- Peg feeding.
- Suctioning.
- Insulin and blood monitoring.
- Oxygen therapy 02 monitoring.
- The post holder will be responsible for a caseload of clients which fall within the remit of the traded service as agreed with individual schools. This may require the referral of some clients directly to the core service, and/or liaison with 'core service' colleagues.
Requirements of the School Nurse:
- An in-date DBS is required for all roles/work
- RGN qualified
- Registered on the NMC
- Recent UK experience within nursing.
