Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist to work in Sittingbourne, Kent on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Physiotherapist job is £31,365 up to £37,890 per annum.
Job Purpose:
- The Respiratory Physiotherapist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist respiratory intervention to enable and rehabilitate patients registered with GP's.
- To provide rehabilitation to the patients with a range of Respiratory and Cardiac conditions.
- To have clinical responsibility for assessment and treatment planning of a caseload of clients within the community, including those based in residential and nursing home facilities.
- To assist in the overall development and management of Community Respiratory Service.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- Minimum 2 years post registration experience in Respiratory care
- HCPC Registration
- Evidence of clinical assessment skills, able to undertake advanced respiratory assessment to include spirometry and auscultation.
- Experience and good knowledge in Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of major respiratory guidelines covering Respiratory conditions, Oxygen therapy, Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
