Locum Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse position available now within the dynamic Mental Health Access Team in Stockport, UK. As a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will join the Stockport Access Team, helping to screen and triage referrals efficiently. You will undertake phone triages and face-to-face assessments, ensuring individuals receive the right care at the right time.

What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive health and social care assessments for individuals referred to the service.
- Participate in comprehensive risk assessments and provide short-term support.
- Act as part of our multi-disciplinary team to handle referrals efficiently from GPs and other agencies.
- Ensure effective collaboration between mental health services and the team, promoting our gateway and assessment role.
- Provide urgent assessments for those entering through the urgent care pathway and determine appropriate management plans.
- Deliver brief crisis interventions and follow-up care to support crisis management and reduce harm.
- Adhere to Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust policies, the Mental Health Act, and community care legislation.
