Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Birmingham to provide treatment to patients who have been diagnosed with neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £24.61 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a change - month contract.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
  • Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Previous NHS experience

Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist physiotherapy service to patients recently diagnosed with a neurological condition in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
  • To be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice and support and guidance in the management of stroke.
  • To transfer individual patients' on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
  • To meet the service specification objectives and key performance indicators as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high-quality service.
