Sanctuary Health has a locum vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work part-time in Kent. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team in a locum capacity at Hothfield Brain Injury Centre undertaking all aspects of clinical duties with the support of the lead Physiotherapist.
- To perform thorough assessments of patients with diverse and sometimes complex physical presentations alongside other physical and psychological conditions associated with acquired and traumatic brain injury.
- To provide provisional diagnoses and develop patient centred, holistic treatment programmes.
- To take responsibility for your own caseload, participate in evidence based audit and research and to use outcome measures to demonstrate the clinical effectiveness of the service.
- To utilise and supervise rehabilitation technicians, junior Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy students in the clinical setting.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree within physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- NHS Experience working as a physiotherapist
