Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work full-time in Coventry. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
About the job:
- Assess and treat a varied caseload of musculoskeletal conditions; including acute, sub-acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- make decisions based on complex clinical findings and be a specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- interpret / analyse clinical and non-clinical data to form diagnosis, prognosis and recommended intervention
- devise and implement and monitor effectiveness of individualised management and treatment plans, using a high level of clinical reasoning and practical skills which enable independent working
- assist and lead gym classes
- provide spontaneous and planned advice, teaching and instruction to relatives, carers and other professionals to promote understanding of the aims of physiotherapy
- make full use of our extended scope services including; Injections, Acupuncture and Women's Health services, as well as access to imaging including in-house diagnostic ultrasound and direct access to secondary care consultants.
- Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of adults and organise caseload with regard to clinical priority
- The Health Centre is located within easy access to all transport links.
- Alternatively if you choose to cycle to work, a secure bike lock up is available free of charge and showering facilities are conveniently located on the same floor as the department.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Previous NHS experience
