Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist to work full-time in Chelsea. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26-£27 per hour (Assignment Rate). This role offers an ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
- To work as an occupational therapist within the in-patient orthopaedic team. This role facilitates optimal LOS, discharge and patient flow by assessing and managing patients with adult trauma, elective orthopaedic and surgical patients, and working closely with the wider MDT. There will be significant manual handling and discharge planning involved.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
