Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Older Adults Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work either full/part-time based in Kirkby in Ashfield.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main duties
- Provide a specialist occupational therapy service for older adults with mental health needs and adults of any age living with dementia
- Demonstrate active clinical and managerial leadership skills within the team, providing education and supervision to none-registered staff including students
- Represent and promote the specialist role of occupational therapy, including service planning and development
- Undertake the role of practice placement educator for occupational therapy students and providing placement opportunities in accordance with local agreements and standards and will support students from other disciplines
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Must be a car driver
