Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Guilford on a full-time basis in a mental health based role. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.00-£26.00 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 5 -month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Experience of working with adults with mental health problems
Responsibilities:
- The hospital provides assessment and treatment for older people suffering from an acute mental health condition.
- Will include completing comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments,
- Delivering both individual and group interventions and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- There will be an emphasis on home assessments and facilitating discharge from the wards.
