Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Huntingdon on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £23.74-£24.50 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive initial assessments if children, young people and their families or carers within a community CAMHS clinic
- Liaison and follow up with CYP&F, schools and other agencies post-initial assessment.
- On-call (duty) mental health risk assessments of children and young people at risk of, or having carried out, self-harm. Involves travel to the local acute hospital site.
- Duties involve extensive use of Display Screen Equipment.
- Candidates must be able and willing to commute to and from Huntingdon.
