Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work full-time within an Intermediate Care Team based in Morden. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 4-month contract.
It is equally exciting role as Rapid Response as most of our client requires rapid intervention to prevent any unnecessary admission and enable the client to manage at home.
This includes:
Triaging.
Assessing patient rapidly if needs identified as urgent which can include end of life pathway.
Providing appropriate intervention as necessary.
Joint assessment with other professionals such as District Nurses, Physiotherapist.
Provision of aids/adaptations to support client to stay safe or manage functionally at home.
Discharge planning and report writing
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapies
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
2 years post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
