Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Roehampton on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
As part of the team you work to support patients in achieving their goals (GAS) using therapy techniques incorporating compensatory strategies
This role involves physical rehab such as upper limb ( FES, splinting ,odema management), cognitive assessment rehab including standardised assessments and functional rehabilitation
Working in the inpatient service assessing and treating patients with neurological conditions e.g stroke TBI, GBS, MS , FND
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
