Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work in Cotgrave on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.96 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- To provide occupational therapy specifically to individuals with mental health needs including dementia who are referred to the service.
- To ensure a high-quality occupational therapy service is provided through multi-disciplinary, multi-agency working.
- To carry out specialist assessment, goal setting, implementation of treatment programmes and evaluation which seek to work in partnership with service users and their carers in a recovery and positive risk taking approach.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
