Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work at St Charles in Kensington on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract (Can extend).
Job Summary:
- The postholder will be given professional supervision by the lead Occupational Therapist and 3 other Occupational Therapist working in the unit
- Provide Occupational therapy cover in an adult acute mental health service.
- You will complete assessments and reports and intervention.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist in inpatient adult mental health
- Experience in using MOHO standardised assessment tools, assessment and report writing skills
- Experience of working on a PICU of forensic ward as the role involves providing some cover in the PICU ward
- Ability to build relationships quickly and excellent communication skills as the cover will be across several wards
