Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work in Rotherham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.80-£25 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
The post holder will work as a member of a multidisciplinary CMH Team providing a service to clients experiencing mental health difficulties of a serious and enduring nature.
Duties:
- To be responsible as the Care Coordinator for the assessment and coordination of care needs, planning and implementation of evidence-based care to a defined group of service users and their carers as part of a multidisciplinary approach.
- To provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- To act as a role model and resource for junior/less experienced staff.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
