Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse to work full-time based in Bath. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Mental Health Liaison Nurse role is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The Mental Health Liaison Team offers advice and/or assessment to patients admitted to either A&E or a ward in the RUH, and who are triaged and referred to the Mental Health Liaison Team by RUH staff for their mental health needs. This role would be working alongside the Adults of Working Age clinicians and based mainly in A&E.
Requirements of the Mental Health Liaison Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Experience of carrying out frontline assessments and risk management is required, plus excellent communication skills.
- RIO access is required
- Confident using computer systems; Front line assessment; RiO
