Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Intermediate Care Occupational Therapists to work in Salford on a full-time basis. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for these locum Occupational Therapists job is £24.50 - £25.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Job Summary:
- Based on assessment, to develop and deliver individualised and graded occupational therapy treatment programmes, that are regularly reviewed and evaluated to ensure intermediate care outcomes are met
- To utilise advanced analytical skills and clinical reasoning and apply to the occupational therapy process in a person-centred approach
- Based on the outcome of the assessment and treatment programme, to formulate appropriate and timely discharge strategies
- To undertake comprehensive and holistic occupational therapy assessments of patients including those with diverse presentations, multiple pathologies and complex needs, in a variety of settings.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapists:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
