Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Health Visitors and School Nurses to fill multiple roles across North East London. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The pay rates for these full-time roles are £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and are initial 3-month contracts.

Health Visitor roles available:

  • Band 6 Health Visitor - Covering all Redbridge Bases, Start ASAP, Full-time working 9-5pm. Responsibilities: Case Management, Child protection, Clinics, Clinical Activities relating to Health visiting, Priority new Birth visits.
  • Band 6 Health Visitor - Dagenham, Start ASAP, Full-time working 9-5pm. Responsibilities: Health visiting Duties, Home visits, Child health Clinics, Development reviews, safeguarding work, liaisons with agencies and attendance meetings.
  • 2 x Band 6 Health Visitor - Walthamstow, Start ASAP, 1 x Full-time working Monday-Wednesday 9-5pm. 1 x Full-time working Monday-Friday 9-5pm. Responsibilities: to work as an autonomous practitioner to provide safe, evidenced based and effective health visiting service to families & Children 0-19yrs. Responsible for a defined caseload, and classifying cases in line with national strategy of universal, Universal plus and Universal Partnership plus.
  • Band 6 Health Visitor - Barking, Start ASAP, Full-time. Responsibilities: Carry out all HV Duties including delivery of the healthy child programme, home visits, clinics and Reviews.
  • Band 6 Health Visitor - Grays, Start ASAP, Full-time working 9-5pm. Responsibilities: New Births, 6-8 weeks checks, Child protection conferences and Looked after children reviews.

Band 6 School Nurse roles available:

  • Band 6 School Nurse - Dagenham, Start ASAP, Full-time working Monday-Friday 9-5pm. Responsibilities: to meet the needs of Children with Health problems within the specialist school, writing care plans and ensuring staff are trained to respond to individual needs in emergencies. To support Families. To support safeguarding concerns, attend case conferences and liaise with other health professionals.
  • Band 6 School Nurse - Start ASAP, working 3 days per week. Responsibilities: Case Management, Child protection, Clinics, Clinical activities relating to school Nursing.

Requirements for these roles:

  • Degree or equivalent in nursing
  • Current NMC registration
  • Significant NHS experience as a Health Visitor or School Nurse
  • Having RIO training and experience as essential
  • Ideally a car driver
